2. How do I select the correct prescription (diopter) for my vision?

  • Just Nearsighted (No Astigmatism)? Simply choose the diopter that matches your regular glasses. Example: -3.00 Glasses -> Choose a -3.00 Mask

  • Have Astigmatism (Cylinder)? Add half of your Cylinder number to your Sphere (Myopia) number. Example:-3.00 Sphere + (-1.00 Cylinder / 2) = -3.50 -> Choose a -3.50 Mask

  • Different Prescription in Each Eye? Since our masks feature unified lenses, calculate each eye separately and select the number that falls in the middle, or choose the weaker prescription (closer to zero) to prevent eye strain.

  • Number Falls Between Two Sizes? If your calculation lands on a number we don't carry (e.g., -3.25), always round down (closer to zero). It guarantees a comfortable, dizzy-free underwater experience.

  • Pro Tip for High Prescriptions (-5.00 and above): Water naturally magnifies vision. If you have a very high prescription or are prone to dizziness, you may prefer to step down by -0.50 from your calculated diopter for maximum comfort.

3. Will the lenses fog up during my swim or dive?
